Katie Boyle is an Irish comedian living in New York City. Her favorite stand-up topics are her journey through American culture, dating, therapy and shame! She performed as a "New Face" in the 2023 Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, and was featured in NY Funniest showcase and New York Comedy Festival in 2022. Katie's debut album and special, I'll Do It Myself, was released through Pinch Records in summer of 2023. The album hit #1 on iTunes Comedy Charts and is currently available to stream on all major platforms. Her last special, Don't Tell, premiered last November.

Paul Howard is an Irish journalist, author and comedy writer. He is the creator of the character Ross O'Carroll-Kelly, a fictional Dublin 4 "rugby jock".

Naperville Gaelic Athletic Club

The Naperville Hurling & Camogie Club provides adult leagues as well as youth and educational programs. Since it is an emerging (although not new) sport, most players have little to no direct experience when they join. The current adult summer league runs through September, but we play year round. The only requirements to join are a) that members, coaches be sufficiently physically fit to play, and b) treat other members, coaches and staff with respect. The Naperville Hurling & Camogie Club is a member of the United States Gaelic Athletic Association (USGAA) – Heartland Division and Chicago Gaelic Games Development. These affiliations give our members and leadership increased training and coaching opportunities.

Quigley’s Irish Pub is nestled in the Jefferson Hill Shops, 43 East Jefferson Ave., in downtown Naperville. Give us a call at (630) 428-4774 or stop in for a pint, music and Irish fare. The West Suburban Irish call us their home and we offer Naperville’s original dog friendly patio during warmer months. Quiz night is at 7PM the first Tuesday of most months. Irish Sessions is the third Wednesday of the month starting at 7:30PM. Slainte!

West Suburban Irish, Inc. celebrates and preserves Irish culture in the Chicago suburbs through engaging events, arts, language, and sports, fostering a vibrant community spirit.

The West Suburban Irish Language Learning Group is a meetup of Irish language learners from absolute beginner to intermediate levels for informal lessons and to practice speaking and listening with others in a casual pub setting. Serving the far west suburbs of Chicago, most weekly meetings are in Naperville. Beginners meet on Wednesday evenings at 7pm at Quigley’s Irish Pub in Naperville.
