Kingfishr is a prominent three-piece Irish indie folk band that formed in Limerick in 2022. The trio consists of Edmond "Eddie" Keogh (lead vocals, guitar), Eoghan "McGoo" McGrath (banjo, vocals), and Eoin "Fitz" Fitzgibbon (guitar, vocals). Though none of the members are originally from Limerick, they met and started playing music together in 2018 while studying engineering at the University of Limerick.

The 42nd annual Limerick Literary Festival in honour of Kate O'Brien concluded its most recent run from February 27 to March 1, 2026, delivering a vibrant weekend of literature, poetry, and art. Centered primarily at the Belltable arts centre on O'Connell Street, the festival acts as a major platform connecting international and Irish writers with eager readers.
