Cardinals are a rising five-piece indie rock band from Cork, Ireland, known for blending indie rock with accordion-led, melodic folk influences. Their sound has been described as a mix of post-punk and more traditional, soulful elements, with their debut album, Masquerade, released in February 2026.

Cian Brendan Ducrot is an Irish-French singer-songwriter. He rose to prominence with his single "All for You", which gained popularity in 2022 via TikTok and reaching number 2 in the Irish Singles Chart and peaked at number 19 on the UK Singles Chart. O'Mahony's of Watergrasshill is a family-run country pub and food venue in North Cork; the venue is only 10 minutes from the Dunkettle Interchange, near Cork City. Re-opened in 2016 by Máire O'Mahony and her partner Victor Murphy, customers to O'Mahony's now enjoy great local food and drink in stunning modern rustic surroundings. The creative influence of Máire's art background is obvious in the stylish re-design; she has an MA in fine art from the Crawford College of Art and Design and a BA in Fine Art from NCAD. Máire cut her teeth in the events industry as a volunteer with many arts festivals. Máire grew up in the pub and during her college years worked in hospitality in Ireland, France, Brussels and San Francisco. She is proud to be the fourth generation landlady of O’Mahony’s of Watergrasshill.

Located on the corner of historic South Main Street and Tuckey Street, The Oval is named for its stunning interior ceiling – a central feature of this particular premises – and is often considered one of the best pubs in Cork. The venue was custom designed by an Edinburgh-based firm of architects on behalf of the Beamish and Crawford brewery, which previously operated across the street, and its Sino-Celtic style is clearly reminiscent of Mackintosh as a result. Incredibly, The Oval is still in its original condition and is the only pub in Cork to be included on a list of important 20th Century buildings within the city limits. It has an open fire and generally smells of a heady mixture of peat and whiskey! The pub itself has a very diverse clientele and is reputed to be haunted on the back of numerous sightings of a soldier in ragged uniform over the years. Like the ghost, you wouldn’t want to leave The Oval either once you’ve experienced a night out in this renowned Indie pub. The music reflects the pub’s reputation and it’s a fantastic way to spend any evening in Cork. A busy spot, particularly on Friday and Saturday nights, the advice is to get there early!
