Get ready to laugh your way into Halfway to St. Patrick's Day! On Friday, September 18 at 7:30 PM, our Irish Comedy Showcase brings together a fantastic lineup of Irish and Irish-American comedy for one of the newest additions to this year's festival weekend. ADAM BURKE — HEADLINER Originally from County Armagh, Adam is a regular panelist on NPR's Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me! and a former writer for WGN-TV's Man of the People. He's written for The Onion and Second City and has opened for some of the biggest names in comedy, including John Mulaney, John Oliver, Maria Bamford, and Aziz Ansari. CONOR CAWLEY - HOST & PRODUCER A Chicago comedian and the founding producer of Don't Tell Comedy Chicago, Conor returns to the lAHC after helping bring us a sold-out comedy show earlier this year! KAIT CARMODY With family roots in Counties Clare and Mayo, Kait brings her Irish-American upbringing, Midwest humor, and storytelling to the stage. She's performed at The Laugh Factory, Zanies, Comedy Bar, and The Lincoln Lodge. JEANIE DOOGAN A South Side Irish favorite who's no stranger to the IAHC! A former public school teacher, Jeanie turns her experiences with teaching, motherhood, Chicago, and everyday life into sharp and hilarious stand-up. JOHN MCCOMBS A Chicago comic with an international résumé, John has performed in 15 countries across three European tours— including Ireland-and brings his globe-trotting stand-up back home to Chicago.

The Halfway to St. Patrick's Music Festival is an annual four-day fundraiser for the Irish American Heritage Center in Chicago, running from September 17–20, 2026. The festival features live music, Irish dance performances, vendors, food, drinks, family activities, and community gatherings. Please note that entry to the individual headlining concerts/showcases on Thursday and Friday requires separate special event tickets, while general festival admission passes cover weekend activities.
