Irish Events in Chicago, IL

Chicago’s Irish spirit shines brightest each March, when the Chicago River is dyed emerald green and the St. Patrick’s Day Parade brings crowds downtown in celebration. But the city’s Irish heartbeat lasts all year—through neighborhood parades on the South Side and Northwest Side, lively music sessions in pubs like Chief O’Neill’s, and cultural festivals hosted by the Irish American Heritage Center. From summer concerts to holiday ceilidhs, Chicago offers a full calendar of Irish traditions, keeping the community connected in every season.
