Dargan’s Irish Pub & Restaurant in Santa Barbara carries on a family tradition that started nearly a century ago. Back in 1927, Lawrence Dargan opened a small pub and grocery shop in Cookstown, a market town in Northern Ireland. It quickly became the local go-to for great times and good company—what we all call the “craic.” Today, Dargan’s is owned and operated by Lawrence’s grandson, Paul Dargan, continuing that same warm hospitality and community spirit right here in Santa Barbara.
