The James Joyce Society

Founded in 1947, The James Joyce Society is one of the oldest literary organizations in the world dedicated to a single author. Based in New York City, the Society brings together scholars, readers, and Joyce enthusiasts to explore and celebrate the life and works of the iconic Irish writer. Through lectures, discussions, readings, and Bloomsday events, it keeps the legacy of Ulysses, Finnegans Wake, and Joyce’s entire body of work alive and thriving.
