Cathy Jordan

Cathy Jordan is a highly celebrated Irish traditional singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist who has served as the frontwoman and voice of the multi-award-winning band Dervish since 1991. A native of Scramogue, County Roscommon, she is widely recognized for her deep understanding of traditional folklore, playing the guitar, bouzouki, bodhrán, and bones. She has traveled to nearly 40 countries as a cultural ambassador for Irish music and was recently honored as the Singer of the Year at the prestigious Gradam Ceoil TG4 2025 awards.
