Join INDC on Saturday, May 17th for a guided tour and Guinness tasting at The Guinness Open Gate Brewery in Halethorpe, Maryland just outside of Baltimore. The brewery is the first Guinness presence on US soil since 1954 and is the first ever purpose-built Guinness brewery in American history. It combines over 260 years of the Guinness Irish brewing tradition with a little American experimentation as the brewery is known for its flagship beer, the Guinness Baltimore Blonde. INDC has organized a private tour for a number of our members, at 3pm. The tour costs $20.00 and will last approximately 45 minutes. The tour guide will show us around the consumer experience, give plenty of background about the Guinness heritage and provide an overview of the Baltimore Brewery. Following the tour there will be a tasting of a flight of four Guinness beers which includes the original 1759 Guinness and the Guinness Baltimore Blonde with one of the brewery’s beer experts! You must be 21 or older to participate in the tasting and must have a government issued photo ID. (No exceptions)
